I've been here on and off for 18 years and I have to agree.

I don't know, the Enterprise forum was pretty toxic back in the day. I'm not proud of a lot of the things I posted back then.

I'd say it's probably pretty close. Regardless, doesn't mean it needs to be that way now.

Is the Discovery forum not as bad as the Ent one used to be? I am kind of scared of going in there.

Discovery is a garden stroll compared to Enterprise's Compton.

Probably a wise choice...it can be OK, but then it swings downward.

I wouldn't say its as bad as the ENT forum back in the day. It does have its moments though.

Heh, I'd expect the DSC forum to be full of: "This is Star Trek INO!!!!!", "I WILL NEVER PAY EXTRA FOR A TV SHOW THIS IS EXTORTION!!!!!!", and "MICHAEL IS A SJW!!!!!!!!" like most places I've seen that talk about DSC.

Heh, I'd expect the DSC forum to be full of: "This is Star Trek INO!!!!!", "I WILL NEVER PAY EXTRA FOR A TV SHOW THIS IS EXTORTION!!!!!!", and "MICHAEL IS A SJW!!!!!!!!" like most places I've seen that talk about DSC.

You see a bit of it from time to time, but mostly the complaints are about the actual content of the show.

Occasionally, but it is rare. Usually it is more complaints about how it fits in to the rest of continuity, and the way the story and writing has been done.

I pretty much only go in there when the show is on. Otherwise I often give it a wide berth. There's a few posters in there that just think way too highly of their opinions.
