Episode 9 preview

Nothing has suggested that so far.

No, but something is definitely up with Stamets and its possible if he's not jumping universes, he's connecting with them. Particularly with calling Tilly "captain."

As much as it pains me to say this, this whole thing may be where the "transdimensional Sareks" BS came from.

My guess: as a cliffhanger for the mid-season break Stamets is suddenly disappearing from the ship while using the s-drive and will materialize in the Mirror Universe once the season continues.
Episode 10. My guess too. And I think that when Discovery come back to Prime Universe, something will be diferent.

Am I the only person that finds 0 appeal in the Mirror Universe? Also, considering that Stamets states to Mudd that he exists outside of the normal progression of time (hence him remembering EVERY time Mudd reset his 30-minute time loop and saying that he's tired of watching people die repeatedly) then he could also simply be getting past or future snippets when he synchs with the spore drive. Calling Tilly 'captain' could be him catching a momentary glimpse into the future when she is a captain, or the delay of his image we see in the bathroom mirror could be nothing more than temporal displacement and have absolutely no correllation with the Mirror Universe.

Any thoughts?

I agree

I appreciate Ted Sullivan loves the show and I enjoy his enthusiasm! But he has set the bar pretty high for this ep by describing it as being 'Balance of Terror' good on After Trek! An understandably cluttered promo that doesn't give much away! Hope it's cracking!

They seem ashamed to show the ships properly during space battles, everything is rushed or we get the shaky camera & either super tight angles or zoomed out shots.

Yep. It's very annoying. I hate the rushed space shots.
