A sample of my idea for Star Trek Reboot III
Spock Prime no sooner closed the comlink with Enterprise regarding the inquiry about Khan then two Vulcan henchmen took him by the arms and lead him back to his detention quarters. It was a small area in the Vulcan Capitol which was nearing completion. The ruling counsel deemed it most logical to keep information about this arrangement from getting off world too soon. Since they arrived at the new colony, Vulcan aggression towards Spock Prime mounted. They blamed him for the destruction of their home world not.
The only reason he was kept alive was that the counsel deemed it most logical to get as much future information from him as possible. To date the amount of that information was nil. Spock Prime had practiced the most resilient mental disciplines. And of the survivors, none had the strength of mind to break through his ability to resist mind probes of any sort.
Chancellor T'Kos was seriously considering ransoming Prime to one of the many other species who made it clear they wanted a shot at breaking down his mental resistance to gain his knowledge of the future and its technologies. And they were willing to pay handsomely to have the opportunity.
The Vulcan colony was completely vulnerable. Otherwise she would never have even considered such a dishonorable ploy. But the survival of the Vulcan way of life was of utmost logic. And if they could not break Prime, they were certain no one else would. Besides, her colleagues told her, it was just a matter of time until one of the species like the Klingons came to take Prime by force. And their numbers were far too few to endure such an assault.
