The console looks a bit TNGish...it's hard to tell if the console is reflective touch-pads or physical controls...and is that a HUD Astrogator in the background?

Well you can already tell this is going to be a very DIFFERENT looking bridge from the original. It'll probably have the same basic configuration, but that's it.

Lets see that doesn't seem like the navigational consule more like another station on the outer ring of the command deck. Could be totally wrong, its a blind guess based the curvature in the pic.

Hey now do we get to hear complain about how the buttons aren't crystal-candy like? Though I do actually prefer buttons over touch screens...

I'm getting the feeling there's a goldish-tan color scheme going on here.

For all we know this might be the Romulan ship or even the 24th century Enterprise old Spock is on, who are we kidding, this is the Enterprise bridge allright, JJ is sitting on the floor or a chair here with a verry 21st century notebook computer sitting on who's station here ?

Yeah, I'd say its an outer station. His crouching posture is odd, thought. If it's a normal console height, he'd normally be in a chair or standing hunched down a bit. Maybe it's not in position for shooting, and is on the floor or something?

I'm cautiously optimistic about what we see here. It seems he's preserved the colorful, chunky button scheme of TOS consoles, but with better lighting and arrangement. Definitely different, but with a basis in what we know.

It's all about basic shapes and silhouettes. Inside of that, the details and colors can be altered without taking away all feeling of nostalgia.

It's really BRIGHT and colorful, well there goes the nuBSG argument right out the window !

I'm not sure I understand why he's sitting on the floor. Surely the actual consoles would be higher up so you could sit on a chair or stand on your feet to work on them and not crouch awkwardly. I'm positive it'll make sense when we actually see the characters using it though.

I've seen a lot of talk in 30 minutes about something we CANNOT see!!! I can't tell a darn thing from that photo except its not LIT for filming.

The little bit we can see looks cool. But we all realized that the Bridge consoles would look different. The knobbish look of TOS is too 60's and doesn't look futuristic. Besides, the consoles have to look like they are on ships between the time period of ENT and TNG.
