Previously in the Enterprise Avatar Contests....

After a real horse race that saw the top spots shifting several times, Admiral Shran wins the Golden Porthos for "Kir'Shara", and billcosby ties with Hoshi's sis for second place and puppy kisses!

In the "Alien Artifacts" contest, yours truly takes first place, with Admiral Shran (good work, dude!) the runner-up.

Thank you, and congrats to the winners. Wonderful entries this week, all. We had a nice voting turnout this week too, and we thank you so much for showing your support.

So now it's backward we go to "Awakening," the second act of the Vulcan Trilogy.

The theme this week, suggested by HopefulRomantic will be "I Grieve With Thee," having to do with loss, tragedy, disappointment, etc. Please feel free to use any Trek as your sources, though Enterprise would be preferred.

Same guidelines: max of 140x140 and 70K size for your entries.

And remember you don't have to enter both contests, we'd love you have any submission you have.

We took a sabbatical from the avatar contests a while back, when interest waned, and started it up again when someone asked for one. Maybe it's just time for a break. I hope not, because the artistry and creativity I see here week in and week out is just stunning, and I would miss it very much.

I am looking forward to the vote on these contests, no matter how many entries we have. Great stuff so far, as always.

I'll enter. This forum had great appeal to me and seeing these contests helped draw me in. I just tend to be a little too lax about these things but I'll hurry up and post mine.
