Thanks for the votes in the last contest. I realized that I might have actually tied with Zion Ravenous (spelling?), and I'll admit, his avatar is fantastic. I would have used that character if he hadn't already.
But people are waiting for the next contest.
The category is "Greatly Missed". Why did I pick this? Because I couldn't think of anything else.
The choices are pretty broad, but it should be something or someone notable that is no longer around, or as influential as it once was. It could be a great man, like a leader or an iconic actor, or a device that is no longer really used, or a trend that is no longer needed. Anything that you think we have unjustly forgotten about, or something that, with these changing times, we could possibly use once again, something perhaps akin to getting back the basics, the essence of what we need to get through it. It can be serious, like the WTC, or funny, like Crazy Eddie.
The important thing is that the public should know or have access to know of it and its potential significance, so avatars of family members would be lost on your fellow posters.
Anyway if enough people don't like this topic I can change it, and suggestions are welcome.
I'll give the entry period almost a week or so, ending Sunday or Monday. Usual Rules apply for entries.
