The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. It's 300-feet (91.44 meters) across and 160-feet (48.76 meters) deep (note the size from the plane flying overhead and the tiny walkway to the bottom right) The rainbow colors come from bacteria which thrive in the warm waters along the rim, and the center is deep blue and sterile from the extreme heat that even they can't handle. It changes colors throughout the year based on chlorophyll content and temperature.
