I still can't make up my mind over whether he's really this ditzy or if it's all an act.

I think it's a bit of both really.

He would make a great PM though, better than the dickhead we have now.

Oh, and my entry:

It's one of the rare occasions I feel hampered by the language barrier, because I don't think I fully grasp what this contest is about. Or is it really just celebrities who say stupid things?

Yes. Anybody who is famous who said something that really offended fans, the public in general or just plain old ticked you off. Politicians, entertainers ... The Pope ... (don't worry about offending him. I doubt he's on TrekBBS).

To help out Miss Lemon and anyone else who might be stumped, I would ask that everybody identify your entries so they can look them up (or better yet, briefly explain why you submitted the entry).

Thank you.
The Management.

ETA: My entry is Rush Limbaugh. He's a raging, obnoxious hypocrite. He has four ex-wives, and yet he has the gall to denounce efforts to permit gays in the U.S. to marry, calling it an attack on the "sanctity of marriage."

Okay, I'll enter this one, then:

Frank Miller, famed comics writer and artist, creator of "Sin City" and "300", has caused controversy with his Graphic Novel "Holy Terror", and later again, with his open statement on his website where he called the Occupy movement "a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness"[sic].

Don Imus once said of the Rutgers Women's Basketball team: "That's some nappy-headed hos"

After much uproar, CBS eventually cancelled his show.

It was, of course, not the first controversial thing he said.
