First off, thanks to all who participated and voted in the previous avatar contest. The result was a tie between RJDiogenes and myself, and he graciously allowed me to host this time.

The theme for this contest is Celebrating the Moon: 45 Years Since Apollo 11.

Avatars showing the Moon and/or astronauts who have been to the Moon are what we're looking for this time. Please, nothing from science fiction movies, TV shows (exception: news footage or documentaries), comics, fiction book covers, or photoshopped.

If you choose to use a photo of one or more astronauts, please identify them and which mission they were on.

Entries are welcome until next Monday (August 4). I look forward to seeing the entries!

File size is way too big. BBS avatars need to be 140 KB or less. You might try taking out a few frames or reducing the av size.

i deleted it on the host site, because I couldn't use it. So tried to replace the file, but the new one is corrupted with ugly artifacts... so i didn't relink it.
