"Secret of the Widow" - NX-01 brings supplies for Phillippa and Eric Mandel's geology camp, to find Eric dead and buried, supposedly after an accidental fall. Something doesn't add up; this is the woman's fourth husband to die in an accident on Earth record. A more detailed analysis of her DNA suggests she may have ties to several other mysterious deaths...as long as 250 years ago! She takes an interest in Archer...Meanwhile, Hoshi tries to convince her elderly great aunt to move in with the aunt's daughter and son in law.

Next episode: "Dog in the Manger" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dog_in_the_Manger)

"Dog In A Manger" - In orbit around Perros VI, the Enterprise crew has entered discussions with the Perroseans reguarding trade and cooperation. To this end Archer, Hoshi and T'Pol have taken a shuttle pod down for face to face negotiations. Unknown to them Porthos has stowed away.

Things are going well, when Archer receives a report from Trip, currently in command of the NX-01, that several ships have just entered Perrosean space. The ships have launched several shuttles which land in rural and undeveloped parts of the planet. The Perrosean High Minister calls for his military to immediately launch defensive measures against the invaders.

He explains to Archer that the invaders are from Cabbalo,a planet in a neighboring system. They've come to harvest kebada, a plant that grows wild on Perros. Archer is curious as to why a military response to this? Is kebada valuable or in short supply? The minister explains that it is valueless to Perros. Perroseans don't use it as food or even fodder for their livestock. They often just burn it. But to the Cabbalos it's a necessary part of their diet. Again Archer is perplexed as to why they don't trade with the Cabbalo or just give it to them. There is enmity between the two peoples that goes back centuries for reasons no one really knows, but the Perrosean refuse to give in and let the Caballos have the kebada.

Elsewhere Pothos has wandered off and met up with two groups of children, one Cabollos and the other Perrosean. They delight at his antics.

Can Archer convince the adults to put away their own enmity?

Next Episode- "Born Under A Wandering Star"

"Born Under A Wandering Star" - A nomad docks his shuttle with NX-01 when it requires repair. While he regales the crew with tales of the places he's been, many of which they've never seen or heard of, Trip lends his engineering expertise to the man's craft. Despite NX-01's itinerary, they find themselves drawn to a planet they were not planning to go to, in spite of themselves - due to the harmless mental influence of the nomad. There, the planet's natives refuse to allow the nomad to stay for a season, firing on the ship (they believe his lonely wandering kind are a bringer of doom) but Archer pleads on his behalf, saying his wisdom might be able to help them.

"Musings of an Old Man"

"Musings of an Old Man" - The tale of Enterprise's first contact with the Phrumians is told by a Phrumian who was a child at the time to his grandchildren. To hear him tell it, NX-01 was helpless and its crew fearful and floundering in a battle until his people came and saved the day. Suspicious of his version, one of the grandchildren asks an elderly T'Pol what really happened. In reality, NX-01 rescued his people's ship from an abandoned battlefield strewn with drone ships reawakened by a solar flare.

Next Episode:
"In the Land of Giants"

EDIT: Actually, upon thought, I would take the B plot of T'pol and Trip going to visit the parents and put it as the A plot, and the B plot with the Bad Admiral. Have Trip and T'pol visiting southern parents seems more Wholesome, and discusing his sister and his daughter Elisabeth. Yeah..

"In the Land of Giants" - NX-01 visits a planet settled by geniuses exclusively. Believing that their physical stature should reflect their mental abilities, they require visitors to pass through their transporters and re-materialize as shrunken in size. While Archer attempts to be taken seriously when negotiating a deal for needed resources, Trip and Malcolm deal with an engineering problem only thinking small will solve.

"Oil and Water"
Lt. Char isn't having a good time on the Enterprise. Char has been called an engineering prodigy, and was usually right when it comes to his diagnosis of engineering problems, However, since arriving on Enterprise, Commander Tucker has been on top of him, overrulling most of his ideas, and generally not letting Char get his way. However, during an Orion attack, both Char and Trip have to work together to repair the ship before the Orions come back. In the end Char is right most of the time, however Trip wants to give Char some humility, and show him that even though he's usually right, that he's part of a team, and needs to work with them.

Next Episode: "The Kzinti"

"The Kzinti"- When Enterprise is stopped by a Kzinti police vessel as they approach Kzinti space, T’Pol advises Archer to turn around, noting that even the Klingons have had trouble dealing with them on multiple occasions. When Archer refuses to listen, the ship is captured by Kzinti pirates, who refuse to observe the Treaty of Sirius negotiated by the Vulcans on Earth’s behalf eighty years ago and are armed to the teeth. To the shock of Archer, Trip, Reed and Phlox - to name a few - the Kzinti display a shocking amount of misogyny and sexism toward their female colleagues. As well as shocking mistreatment towards T’Pol for being a Vulcan, with a Kzinti telepath being remarkedly invasive of T’Pol’s private thoughts. Due to the inexperience of the crew in handling the Kzinti – as they only heard rumors of them, but never met one face to face until now - they turn to Travis for leadership, as the Horizon had more that its fair share of run ins with the Kzinti while Travis was growing up. Travis specifically works with the women of the NX-01 to take back the ship, aware that the Kzinti underestimate the abilities of women in general.

Next episode - "Unintelligent Design"

"Unintelligent Design" - NX-01's crew is asked to test a simulator that will train new Starfleet recruits for exploring new planets by randomizing different planetary conditions one might encounter. T'Pol identifies several inaccuracies with the simulations and raises concerns with one of the designers, who asks to meet with her in private, hinting that the issues may not be accidental. When he is killed before their meeting, she follows a trail that leads to revelations that in order to boost Starfleet recruiting and graduate more cadets, simulator missions are rigged to make them believe it will be easier than it is.

"Good Fences"
On the planet Weytahn, things are getting better, with the Vulcans and Andorians on good terms as of late, this planet was chosen as a joint colony venture to learn to mend over a century of hostility. However, as things are better than a shooting war, it isn't exactly a bastion of peace and camaraderie. The Vulcans and the Andorians have settled, but in 2 different locations, and there is near zero communication between the 2 settlements. Captain Archer has been asked to go to Weytahn to further mend the Vulcan/Andorian divide.

Meanwhile, Reed, Mayweather, Phlox, T’Pol and Shran have a debate over the best survival skill techniques in the event the crew gets marooned on a planet, after Shran boasts of having survived a whole year separated from the Kumari on a K-class world.

Next episode – “Necessary Good”

“Necessary Good” - When Travis sustains potentially fatal injuries in a shuttle accident delivering supplies to an outpost, a specialist surgeon offers her assistance to Phlox in caring for the helmsman. Her persistence is because she is a temporal agent who believes that Mayweather has a crucial role in a future assassination thirty years from now (that unfortunately had collateral damage), and aims to see he lives to fulfill his part (whatever that may be). However this is revealed, it naturally causes a conflict of ethics among the crew - should we let him live or die? Daniels shows up, but whose side is he on?

"Bildungsroman"

The Enterprise. crew finds themselves in a predicament that reminds them of a famous series of fantasy series geared toward kids, written early in the 22nd Century. Reed and Mayweather argues about who the heroine should have married in the end.

When she tries to address with Captain Archer, he also become aggressive and defensive. Before long, the ship is in full mutiny, with small factions forming, vying for control. Phlox had shown some signs of resistance towards whatever was happening, and T'Pol engaged in a mind meld with him to attempt to stabilize him. It worked long enough for Phlox to discover a pathogen affecting their minds and synthesized a cure. It took some time for the crew to come to terms with their actions, ashamed they had gone through such extreme emotions over such minor details.

Next Episode - "1992"

"1992" - NX-01 is present for the opening of a time capsule that was buried by the citizens of Wending Cross, a small town in England, during the early days of the Eugenics Wars. The town, afraid of what might come and remembering WWII, had a difficult go of it.
