[Yar and Riker enter from the Turbolift]

YAR (to Picard): Commander Riker for you, Sir.

 

[BlueStuff]

RIKER: Riker, WT, reporting as ordered, sir.

PICARD (to Yar): Is the viewer ready?

 

[Gul Re'jal]

TASHA: All set up, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Picard: We're first bring you up to date on a little adventure we had on our way here, then we'll talk.

Yar is about to lead Riker away, then realizes the Captain hasn't said something important yet.

Picard: Welcome aboard.

 

[Gul Re'jal]

TASHA: (to Riker) This way, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Yar leads Riker to a workstation with a blank screen behind it. Riker sits down as Yar activates the screen and walks away.

Q (on monitor): Thou art directed to return to thine own solar system immediately. Go back or thou shalt most certainly die. You can't deny you're still a dangerous, savage, child race.

 

[BlueStuff]

DATA: Message from the saucer module, sir. It will arrive here in fifty one minutes.

 

[Gul Re'jal]

PICARD: Inform them we'll connect as soon as they arrive. And sent the Commander to me when he's finished.

 

[LeadHead]

Yar: Yes, Sir.

 

[BlueStuff]

(Picard leaves)
