[Outside the runabout]

(Sisko sees a vicious, rocky, lightning-ridden alien planet, but Dax sees they're in a beautiful garden.)
DAX: It's beautiful!
 
COMPUTER: Idran, a ternary system consisting of twin O-type companions.

So the computer knows ahead of time that it will take two hours to compile a database of existing records, but can identify a navigation fix with zero a priori information in seconds flat?

The writers had some strange notions about 24th century computer capabilities.
 
SISKO: Someone's idea of shaking hands, maybe. I am Commander Benjamin Sisko of the United Federation of Planets.
(They are both hit with green bolts and thrown back. Both scenes flicker then Dax disappears into the green.)
SISKO: Dax!
(The ground Sisko is lying on cracks up with bright light coming through and he disappears. The wormhole opens and an Orb flies out)
