You read my mind. I was hoping for him too. But I guess his Marvel duties wouldn't allow him to go for another big budget project. Stan is the absolute carbon copy of Biehn if you ask me.I would have gone for Sebastian Stan.

One thing we can all agree on:
Why did they pick that guy to play John Connor. He has no intensity .. certainly not what you'd expect of that of a guy known for smashing the machines into dust. This guy seems more like Smiley from Deep Space Nine
It's almost as if John is less a character and more a representation of what a character could be.. I mean.. he is recast every time we see him.
I think Christian Bale as a badass Connor is going to be a tough act to follow.
"Michael Biehn IS Kyle Reese".
They should have cast Michael Biehn as future war John Connor. Fathers and sons sometimes look pretty much alike. And he's got a huge scar in his face anyways.
I'd have said more 'Days of Future Past' but yes...I still think they should have totally Yesterday's Enterprised it and got all the original cast back to play older versions of themselves in a timeline that shouldn't exist. Either that or Back to the Future II it with a new terminator and freedom fighter interacting with the original movie (more so than in this one)
I'd have said more 'Days of Future Past' but yes...

They could look to that for inspiration too, sure.
It's arguable that without ANY of the time travel messing about, Judgement Day would never have happened in the first place as Skynet was built on the reverse engineering of tech from the future, if we take the deleted Terminator scene as canon.
Heh, I had my original movie head on so I was just looking at that.I'd have said more 'Days of Future Past' but yes...

Or you know that kind of major plot point in Terminator 2 with the chip and arm left over from the 1984 Terminator.

"We can stop Judgement day!" Three out of the five movies are about that.
It wasn't a subplot in T1 though, it was just one scene where Sarah wants to do it and Kyle shoots her down so hard that she never mentions it again."We can stop Judgement day!" Three out of the five movies are about that.
Only becuase Cameron cut that particular sub plot from The Terminator.
