The pilot with Markie Post was alright and had some cool moments, but I thought it lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. An arch-villain, perhaps, which i don't recall being there. I liked the fight scene in the store (liquor store?), but I would have moved the slider more towards the hard edge. Not as far as Kick-Ass, not nearly that far, but maybe a step towards that. I thought it needed a greater element of danger.
