Speaking of B5 and nuBSG... does anyone else think that the Sheridan-Lochley dynamic in Season 5 might have served as an inspiration for Ronald D. Moore?

All matters regarding the Interstellar Alliance are Sheridan's business, while military decisions stay with Lochley. Both persons respect each other, but they also butt heads very often over controversial issues. And they also maintained an intimate leadership once (in B5's case this relationship happened years prior to the show, while Adama and Roslin didn't really become an actual couple until Season 4 of nuBSG).
Anyway, is it just a pure coincidence or might Sheridan/Lochley have served as a template for Adama/Roslin?

I'd go with coincidence. It's not something B5 is either known for or particularly acclaimed for. The divide between civilian and military powers seems to be based on, er, real life.
There may be B5 influences in BSG, but those weren't it.
It is EJO in the pic... the smile looks strange on him, but I think that's because of the make-up they slapped on him to "smooth" out his face, it looks like... but I can tell it's him.
I would have loved to have seen JMS write an episode of nuBSG... if he cut out the humor, and just focused on the character drama, it would have been a great episode to see.

Again, are you *sure* that's EJO? If IMDB is all you're going by, then that's hardly a reason. Anyone can submit any credit they want to. IMDB often gets things wrong.
