Maybe at some point they returned it to its original non-lit state?

They're preserving the surroundings to a degree; sounds natural that they'd also prune all that non-original excess.

Also, the whole city seems a bit darker than usual, so maybe they're taking light pollution (and energy saving) a bit more seriously.

Or the people who ran away screaming, realizing that space aliens always train their death rays at capitals and their monuments, have not yet returned?

A couple things I noticed that were. cool things, maybe egg worthy.


When Michael goes for her EVA the night sky has real astronomical objects in it.

Also the star map when the Klingons Attack shows the big dipper constellation.

In Ep 3 I think at times I see TIE Fighter on the wall of the turbo lift. I am not 100% on this but when Lorca is falling into the spore ball thing his scream sounds like a TIE Fighter. So maybe that is a TIE Fighter on turbo lift. Not 100% on that.

Also one epsoide either 4 or 6 I would have sworn I saw a Teddy Bear on the tactical screen in green.

Has anyone done a freeze frame of the Imperial Data Crystal Database screen. I looked at it on the TV it looks like some code. Wondered if it was some kind of hidden message or easter egg.

Lastly Priors’s world that Lorca mentions, is that a shout out by the writers to the animal shelter in Los Angles? I ask because I thought I recognized that name from previous Trek, but Googling didn’t reveal anything...

I usually don’t watch for Easter Eggs but those were some things I noticed that haven’t been mentioned already.

Well I could be mis-remembering, but the TIE Fighter scream is pitched from some sort of animal call.

Yeah I read somewhere that is from the episode synamposis.
I was taking about the projection from the crystal. There is english (plus other languages). It looks like is some kind of computer code or something. I will try and get a shot of it tonite .
