Spoilers Easter Eggs/Call Backs - All Episodes

I've seen people on twitter say there were references to BSG and Gilligan's Island in ep. 9, but I didn't catch them.

Here's the list of references to canon in episode 8 'Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum’ (the final ep will be up in a few days but it's limited like this one):
0:29 USS Gagarin
01:26 USS Muroc & USS Hoover
02:02 Evasive pattern beta
02:20 The needs of the many…
02:37 P’taQ!
02:50 Pahvans v Organians

Final episode of the first part of the season now up. Hope you like.

Time-stamps:
0:29 Will Decker
00:48 Legion of Honor
01:15 33…
01:46 La Boheme
02:04 To boldly go…
02:24 Gateway to the soul
02:43 Negative mass (Mirror universe)
03:10 And finally…

One of the tweets on there suggests that the producers knew the fans would analyze every pixel of every frame of every episode and that this is actually a hidden clue that DISCO was in a different timeline/universe from prime all along.

I just personally chalk it up to a set dresser taking the easy way out with existing assets. Happens all the time.

the V'Ger and Ent-A lines of text don't appear on Lorca's map as far as I can tell. Same with that Klingon Civil War battle line.

I don't think this specific version of the map has actually appeared on screen yet, or if it has, not in focus.

Ted has posted close ups of one of the War maps

There are some details lifted right from Star Charts that shouldn't be there, such as 'Route of V'Ger' and 'Route of USS Enterprise-A (2283)'
Looks like they just imported the Star Charts/Stellar Cartography maps and made alterations.

There's so much stuff in there, you can't blame a non-die-hard missing some things here and there.

were aimed at bankers and merchants, they brought mostly
news from other markets, which usually meant other nations. In
any case, it is [illegible] remark that nation states were still
incipient in 17th century Europe.

and the AP [USA]

What?

ETA: A quick Google search reveals it appears to be an excerpt of this Wikipedia article. For some reason.

Not the first time that has happened on a TV show. Not sure if it has happened with trek before.

If they think whatever text is there is going to be illegible on screen they'll just put any ol text there.

Judging by the size of the font, I doubt it would have been readable.

And they call themselves fans! They should know that fans will freeze frame, blow up and examine every frame with a fine tooth comb and microscope.

I think you're right; I've zoomed in on most maps that have been prominently placed in the episodes and did not see this one. Probably used in the background...

Oh, I'm sure it was completely unreadable. I just don't understand why they even went through the effort... if they were already lifting a map from Star Charts, why paste random text there? If they thought that part of the map was too empty, they could have just written in lorem ipsum or a string of numbers or whatever, and no one would know the difference. And yet they specifically pasted in some text from a random Wikipedia article. Just seems weird to me, is all. :)
