You know, I thought about it, but I was like well my "Jasper" model is still running good. Guess I'll wait until it dies before switching.
But I have to admit, it was damned tempting. My buddy and I went down to the BB over the lunch hour and they said they thought they might have them in the stores by Friday evening. He's in the market right now for a 360 and is chomping at the bit to get this new model.

Well I've got the Iphone 4 calling my name too so I'm going to have to pace myself this summer.
You know all those cheap crappy Wii games you've never heard of before sitting on store endcaps that clueless parents buy up for their kids? That's shovelware -- titles that are all about quantity instead of quality.

PS plus, no real interest in that but at least he confirmed the PSN will remain free in its present form.
This is hardly something limited to the Wii. There's shovelware on every game platform from the Wii to the PS3 to the iPhone.
This explains why half the games EA showed were on PS3s anyway. I'm half expecting Ubisoft to be trotted out next.
