I don’t think there are any differences in the Millennium omnibus besides the timeline inclusion at the end and maybe some formatting or proofreading tweaks. There wasn’t any authorial editing publicized like there was with the Destiny omnibus.

Unity!!!!!

(I caved and bought it at full price earlier this year. But there it is! It finally happened!!!)

Odd that TPTB decided to discount The Farther Shore when, at least to the best of my knowledge, Homecoming has never gone on sale.

Hey @historypeats I feel your pain...

Buying ebooks since 2011 is like gambling with the stock market. It sucks honestly. Its all TIMING, TIMING, TIMING. I screwed it big time with Novembers deals only the FInal Reflection to get.

But as far as Unity and Homecoming according to EREADERIQ both books are as follows:

Only on sale one time only in 7 years:

Unity
The lowest price to date was $1.99 last reached on October 14, 2015.

Homecoming:
The lowest price to date was $2.99 last reached on June 20, 2013

Thank goodness for EREADERIQ or no one would ever know.

But honestly I’m grateful for the Trek monthly deals and S&S have been gracious with Trek compared to Star Wars ebook sales and Random House not being as diverse with their ebook sales.

Its a gamble as I said, but having said that I NEVER regret paying full price for the newer Trek ebooks and supporting the authors, but honestly I miss the old $6.99 ebook price and would honestly buy TWICE as many ebooks at that price. Regardless, it is so very important now more than ever to support all authors and especially Trek authors in the middle of this hellish year. I’m more than thankful for the entertainment to keep my spirits up and to isolate and survive as Im sure all of do. Trek ebooks are a big part of that now more than ever.

Either way its a calculated gamble :) Sometimes you come out ahead, sometimes not. But its all good in the end.

All the best.

This is usually @Koric's beat, but Amazon US just brought a "Spend $25 on ebooks, get $6 in ebook credit" offer online!

(I took this as the signal to finally snag A Time to Kill, A Time to Heal, and A Time for War, a Time for Peace.)

Nice @historypeats you beat me to it :)

I just wanted to add to your post for the dates for everyone just in case. All credit goes to @historypeats.

Amazon promotion on ebooks right now, that you have to activate for ALL AMAZON CUSTOMERS. Spend $25 on ebooks and receive an $6 credit on ebook purchases. It started on November 23rd and ends on November 30th..

I keep hoping for the ENTIRE Time to series gets selected for a monthly Trek deal :)
I''m torn between new Trek releases and older Trek ebooks. LOL. I can't make up my mind.

Please stay safe, and best wishes and Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to everyone on the forums.

Thanks. The sale came just in time for me to use up the $5 eBook credit from ordering a Kindle book from an Echo hardware device that expires in a few hours: https://www.amazon.com/b?node=21439365011 Personally ordered a free Kindle book from an Echo hardware device, and then on my desktop, I saw a $5 credit that applied for Kindle purchases, expiring at midnight Pacific.

There are some great stories and plots in the DS9 relaunch books, but if someone just wanted a cool epilogue to the TV series for a dollar, picking up Unity this month would be a great choice.

I picked up The Face of the Unknown, Unity, The Light Fantastic, and The Farther Shore. As Worf might say, "Good month. Nice books."

Yeah, just as Avatar contained a surprisingly helpful summation of the most important moments from DS9's seven seasons, Unity includes a similarly condensed rundown of the highs from the relaunch. I'd prefer reading the books over the summary, but for those who want to read Unity as a standalone, it's possible.

Picked up The Light Fantastic. Have all of the others in hard copy except for the Voyager volume, as I do not read the Voyager line.

Too bad. You are missing out. The 10 Kirsten Beyer Voyager novels were some of the best of treklit I've read in the last decade and a half. I highly recommend it

She's a good writer, but the relaunch kinda ran out of steam for me about halfway through. That she got me interested in Voyager books at all is a testimony to her talent as an author.

I picked up The Farther Shore, Unity and The Light Fantastic. Already had the other two. Plus bought Homecoming and Rising Son full price.

Is Farther Shore a good read? I'm not a Voyager fan but the synopsis sounds interesting. Mind you, for 99p I suppose it's worth picking up anyway.
