E-Book Pricing Alerts

In the UK, the following are showing under the Kindle Monthly deals for 99p. The general theme seems to be the first books in series.

*snip*

What an odd assortment! I think every one of those has been a sale title at one point or another in the Amazon US store...

Not sure what the delay is with The Murdered Sun, Last Full Measure, or Shadows on the Sun, particularly given that the latter was on sale for many months in a row not so long ago. But Headlong Flight is now available for $0.99 from Amazon US.

The lower prices all reflect now, for me.

Looks like the regular monthly deals (the same as the US) are now also available on Amazon in the UK in addition to the ones I listed last week.

All the deals are also in effect on Kobo Canada. All the ones I could confirm are also in effect on Amazon Canada... but I couldn't confirm Headlong Flight, because for some reason my searches aren't finding it.

@Avro Arrow

You have to search under "Star trek headlong flight"

https://www.amazon.ca/Headlong-Flig...g+flight&qid=1601943568&s=digital-text&sr=1-1

It,is $.99
Sorry, hope that helps. I dont mean to be obvious :)
Glad to help always,

Thank you. :) Although, I did try that. And "Star Trek Next Generation Headlong Flight" too.

But what I didn't clue into (because I was glossing over it and was going right to the search results) was that although I was typing "headlong", the search engine was changing it to "head long", and then amazingly couldn't find what I was looking for! :brickwall:

If I click that "search instead for..." link, then it finally shows it to me. :sigh:

The really weird part is that at one point I just tried searching for "Dayton Ward", and it still didn't come up in the results! (Although the German version Absturz comes up on page 5!

Bear with me I have a somewhat involved question incoming. In the UK this month we have large number of book ones in a series on sale for 99p. How linked are these series usually? Can I get away with buying book one of the Stargazer and Prey series?

For Stargazer, the first book tells a complete story, but the subplot with the admiral is not resolved until later.

Prey does not have a huge cliffhanger at the end of book one, but a lot is still up in the air, and the trilogy is one I think of as an 1,100 page book.

Yeah, I would definitely jump into Prey with the intention of reading all three. The series resolves in a satisfying fashion, and you'd literally have to read all the way to the end to get the end, if that makes any sort of sense. Hell's Heart is fine as a standalone, but I certainly liked the whole of Prey better than any single volume of it.

The S&S Star Trek page in the UK has a few new 99p books this morning. We have:

TOS: A Choice of Catastrophes
TOS: The Captain's Oath
DS9: Millenium
TOS: The Final Reflection
There may be a few more to come, we'll wait and see.

Wait, The Captain's Oath, as in the still-recent CLB outing?

Still can't find anything for U.S. Amazon...

As of right now, November 1st on Amazon US all the ebooks that
@DeepSpaceYorks listed are on sale for $.99 too:

TOS: A Choice of Catastrophes
TOS: The Captain's Oath
DS9: Millenium
TOS: The Final Reflection

Also from @Brendan Moody
TNG 42: Infiltrator
VOY: Endgame

I didn't see any Titan novels on sale, even though I did check.

But the official Trek ebook page for November 2020 isnt up yet.

Thanks to @DeepSpaceYorks and @Brendan Moody again.

Best wishes to everyone, please stay safe and belated Happy Halloween
