Of the October list, I give Prime Directive my highest recommendation. Doctor's Orders is above average, and Shadows on the Sun and Last Full Measure are decent. I have not read any of the others to have an informed opinion.
 
This looks like a good chance for some people that missed some previous deals to pick them up now, as over half of these are from previous deals (which to me is cool, it lets people that missed out once grab them). I thought Doctors Orders in particular was a good read.

Its a selection of books that is totally different to the US selection. That always used to be the case in the UK but the offers had harmonised with each other previously.

As of early 10/1 only three ebooks are $.99 cents right now on Amazon:

I suspect rest of Oct. deals should be on sale shortly.
The UK deal seems like a great well rounded set of ebooks. Too bad we get 7 vs 17 though. Right? But, I'm not complaining :)
