Just was about to post it - such an awesome scene and i love how the Fremen are celebrating his success. He is one of them now and they wanted him to pass this final test ( though i figure a born Fremen would hop on a Sandworm more gracefully )

3 weeks baby!

I wish  I meant Germany Premiere Day as in Release Day ( in a normal movie theater, no red carpet special screening). Fortunately i also got to buy tickets for the original version and not the german dubbed one.

So i have an extra ticket if anyone wants to join? Frankfurt airport is not too far away ;)

I thought it was probably a communication thing but in Canada it doesn't open until the 1st with "midnight" screenings (that start at 11 am) the 29th so when you say the 28th I was like, maybe he's just a lucky SOB:shrug:

I'm saving up for Alaska and Dominican Republic this year, Germany isn't in the budget unfortunately.

Way back in the day they used to do premieres here in Germany in a similar way - screenings at a minute past midnight on actual release day but for some reason that's not the case anymore for some or all theater chains. I'm not complaining and was surprised to see it 2 days earlier.

I live about an hour fifteen from the theatre (no traffic) but I'd have to drive through Montreal traffic to go, on a work night. Vs. the Ottawa theatre which is five minutes further but is a lot better drive.
