Though the cheeky side of my nature makes me wonder if there'll be a further thread resurrection in another few years time to update us on an estrangement. And then another necrobump a year afterwards to commemmorate a reconcialiation. And so on, ad infinitum. Sort of like a new episode of Days of Our Lives, only in slo-mo.

I do not think there will be a divorce, as both of us view that as unacceptable.

Hey, my storyline gave you a reconcialiation, not a divorce! I was being nice! The ad infinitum bit just means you'll be like Gary and Val on Knot's Landing...

I'd do a good best man's toast/roast, too. The trick is remembering that it hits exactly the same emotional notes as a good eulogy: highs of emotional resonance, lows of comedic familiarity, a dose of poignant nostalgia, and lashings of hope for eternal peace and happiness thereafter.

The only difference is that it's for a freakish double fatal accident.
