Dukat... too many plot twists?

I liked the arc they wrote for Dukat. Having him become the ‘Messiah’ for the Pah-wraiths mirrors Sisko’s journey as Emissary of the Prophets. Perhaps some things were too farfetched, I agree, but Marc Alaimo is such a great actor a lot can be forgiven :D.

Even in an episode like, "Wrongs Darker than Death or Night" where he just randomly calls Kira to tell her that her mother was essentially a whore and a collaborator, you actually buy into his devious ways. It really isn't until the writers just started buffet-styling his character that it broke down.
You realize the person you quoted hasn't been around in two years (unless they registered under a new name), right?

We aren't really supposed to bump an old thread after several years with a very few exceptions.

Since the poster you were replying to hasn't been active for more than two years I'm going to go ahead and close this down. However, please feel free to start a new thread if you still want to discuss Dukat.
