DS9 had the shittiest excuse for

If you think the DS9 sets are badly packaged, you should take a look at the terrible job they did on the VOY sets. Terribly cheap plastic trays inside these horribly colored transparent boxes....and worse still were the discs themselves - no art at all. Just plain silver discs with the episode titles in microscopic print around the hole in the middle of the disc. I can't even read the damn things without a flashlight and a pair of reading glasses.

Seriously.

I also am annoyed by the tiny disc labeling. Could they have put less effort into those. They scream "well, the only people going to buy these have no standards anyway, and they will buy them no matter how ugly they are, so let's do them as generically and cheaply as possible."

Yeah, they're pretty awful too, and the plastic gets easily chipped. But at least none of mine have fallen apart yet unlike my DS9 ones. The disc labelling is about as bad as I've ever seen though (unlike the DS9 ones, which are pretty good.)
