DS9 Cookies

I guess I've finally reached that point where Trek influences even those mundane tasks in life (which, of course, makes them a bit more enjoyable).

For example, grocery shopping: I could not resist picking up a bag of Voortman cookies. My husband and I now refer to them as "Vorta" cookies.

One more: I will be driving a rental car for the next few weeks while my car is repaired. What is the first thing I see as I slide in behind the wheel? Above the mileage, it says "Odo!" I love this car!

There is a huge chain of supermarkets in Canada called "Dominion". Can't help thinking I'm funding preliminary Vorta/Jemmy cloning technology when I shop there.
