Sisko: "Remember when Scotty said 'Up your Shaft' ? Well, that's exactly what I'm doing. You can call me John...."
Sisko: "I'm thinkin' somebody stole my goddam stapler."
Bashir: "Oh, shit...."
"Dax? What do you mean, there are Borg in the sewers?"
"Strike three! You're OUT!"
Bashir: So you need to impersonate Gabriel Bell so that the history of 2024 is preserved, right?
Sisko: That's right.
Bashir: But it's 2018. I'll agree that the repressive measures are already being introduce, but surely we haven't altered history with out presence. We don't need to wait six years.
Sisko: You got me. I want some pictures in the history books that shows just how badass I really am. Caption contests in the early twenty-first century will be replete with comments about my physical and sexual prowess, how various parts of my body will be decorated with medals, and the awesomeness of the Defiant.
Bashir: Wait! We're doing this for your image!
Sisko: And from now on, start calling me The Sisko. Now, let me charm this lovely lady!
Dax: "There's nothing down there. I told you that Picard was pulling your leg. It's not 'mon sewer'."
Sisko: "So, what did he really mean when he was complaining to me that he couldn't 'manage a Troi'?"
Bashir: "There is an advantage to longer contests....opportunities for additional input."

Bashir: "Why, yes, I was the Starfleet Academy Grand Alpha Champion Thumb Twiddler...why do you ask?"

In mid 2018, when they stopped running the DS9 caption contest, all of society broke down. There was chaos in the streets. By 2024 the only solution to the problem was to throw the angry masses into sanctuary districts.
Our generous host hadt been on the website since June. Perhaps something is wrong.
SISKO: Doctor? Can we use that fax machine to convert our bodies into a transporter beam, and get us back to the ship?
BASHIR: The Chief is the expert, but I don't see why not.
