DS9 30th Anniversary

You won't be disappointed. For one it's DS9, but the author really gets what Trek is all about and has a deep love for it, and his original fiction has the hopefulness of Trek in it.

So glad I checked this thread. I’ve made a note to add DS9 - The Dog of War to my comic pull list as soon as it’s available. The title and premise sounds a little “whimsical” compared to To Long A Sacrifice (which was really good) but perhaps I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Who am I kidding, I’m such a DS9 junkie I pretty much go on a combination of autopilot/blind-faith when it comes to reading DS9 comics. Also, so far liking the new Star Trek Vol 2 comic series just ‘cause Sisko is back and the central character. So while it’s not branded as DS9, so far it counts to me.

There will also be a DS9 story in issue #7 of Star Trek Explorer featuring Nog and Ezri Dax written by some dude with four initials......
If you have figured out a way to bring back J.R.R. Tolkien, please issue a press release. I think he would rather die again than write in someone else's universe, but I would be fascinated to read his take on Trek.

Nog sure came a long way from a kid who filled Odo's bucket with oatmeal for a prank, didn't he?

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned on here but someone posted a couple solicits for a new DS9 comic miniseries set during the TV series called The Dog of War over in the 2023 releases thread.

As a dog person, I love that the whole thing is going to be focused on a Corgi.

Got and read the first issue of Dog of War today. I liked it a lot more than I have the Star Trek and Star Trek: Defiant series. I felt this book captured the voices of the DS9 characters very well and I also liked the artwork.
