I got the book today, and though I haven't started to read it yet, I did take a look at the photo inserts and there's one there that's even more of a head scratcher than Sisko wearing a monster maroon. There's a group shot of the DS9 cast wearing twentieth century clothes which the caption says was taken in Vic Fontaine's lounge. Bit of a problem though, the group shot includes Jadzia Dax, making it clear it would have had to have been taken sometime in the sixth season, which contradicts season seven's Badda-Bing Badda-Bang which makes it a plot point that Sisko had not been to Vic's at any point prior to that episode.

Not to mention, that photo has some of the roughest examples of pasting an actor's head onto another body I've seen in quite a while. Some of the other pics were clearly made with an A.I. generator too, and...I'm not a fan. And the cover of Incredible Tales somehow has photos of DS9 and a Sovereign class on the cover.

The Vic's pic is a total mess. The color/gamma levels are mismatched, Julian's head is flipped horizontally, Jadzia is from season two (they also forgot to add Trill spots to her neck), Miles has a weird bald area on one side of his head, Kira...good lord, Kira has her season seven hairstyle and is flipped as well and look at how little her head matches her body. Almost none of them have heads that match their body.

Apologies if the person that made it is a member here, I have nothing nice to say about it.

Maybe Vic created this pic out of holograms.

Yeah, it's not the greatest photo by a long shot, but it's little different from all those photoshopped Pocket Books Star Trek novel covers. Heck, it could actually be used as a cover...
