Yeah, everything I've read says that the PC version is the best version of the game.
I played the PC version of this game. OMG is it awful. I mean just terrible. The graphics on KOTOR 1 look better then this. The gameplay is very awkward with all of the right-clicking. And terrible slow-down time. But the load-times are what ruin it. It will literally take 5 minutes sometimes to load a single area.
Problems evident only on shitty computers...

Horsecrap. The guy at Destructiod had very similar complaints.

Destructoid said:The game looks pretty decent, although it isn't by far the best looking game of the year. A few glitches do pop up again to truly let us know this is a BioWare game, the most common being characters that move their mouths but don't say anything. The real tragedy here is that the voice acting is pretty damn great, with characters like Shale and Alistair standing out as wonderful characters. The vocal talents of Tim Curry are criminally underutilized, however.
Man, the Dalish origin is pretty boring.
I'm stuck in the deserted building without anymore health packs. How the heck do you survive this game :^). I need to build a team with a monk... What is a good early game team build anyway...
Herbalism helped me with the potion issue. There's a vendor on the elf camp that has unlimited elfroot, and your camp shop will have unlimited quantities of all the rest of the components. The mages tower has unlimited lyrium. I ended up spending most of my gold on potion components.
I'm playing as an Elvish Mage, currently doing the Dalish quest. I'm in a dungeon and I'm running low on health packs, and I don't have anymore flasks to create more! Tough game, but I'm enjoying it very much. Yay for Claudia Black and Kate Mulgrew appearing!![]()
Still playing (and loving it) and am in Denerim at the moment.
I have noticed one or two issues though. I'm having a slight graphical issue ever since I did the ashes quest. (The player character is sort of glowy).
If I play too long, the area load times seem to significantly increase too. That's on an Dual Core 3Ghz processor with an Nvidia GTX9800 (1Gb on card), 3Gb other memory. Like I say though, that only seems to occur after I've been playing too long. I don't have any slowdown when actually in the game itself.
