Dr Who Xmas info is up at the BBC's site

Are you kidding? Death and misery are staples of the Christmas schedule. Every single soap will pile on the misery and woe, and there's always a war film on every day.

The Doctor 'dying' is small fry compared to half the stuff the soaps will pull out. And at least he's going to save Earth/galaxy/universe/REALITY ITSELF in the process.

Only one reality though? RTD's really gone off the boil...

"Don't worry Wilf!

They can take as many pictures as they like... With their high power zoom lenses and what-not. It'll be on the interweb within minutes, I shouldn't wonder.

Ssshhh. (winking) It's only a dodgy dossier.

A lie can travel half way around the world before the truth has even got its trainers on."

Oops! The BBFC have been busy clasifying the last two Specials and the last two Confidentials and may have given the game away by revealing that the title of one of the latter is "Lords And Masters".

It also means that there are several lucky sods outside of the BBC who've gotten to see those episodes already. Gits.

On the other hand, we know they'll be two Doctors in it (briefly).

Perhaps that's true of the Master too.

Grasping at straws here...

Well, at least they haven't certified that barber shop quartet routine with Eccleston, McGann, Smith and Tennant yet... that would really be a spoiler!

at the ide of a double regeneration of the Master & the Doctor has been mentioned, personally I think they should do the regeneration in such a way that we don't know which is which.

I think I might be a lone voice here. Anyway, this is what's just occurred to me. These are the last of 10's stories. Chances are he's going to die. Okay, so he'll regenerate and therefore not really "die", but is this something I want to see over the festive season? A beloved tv character biting the dust?

Well, the Who Christmas specials tend to be rather bleak for the festive season, anyway. Just take 'Voyage of the Damned' or the enormous death toll (we didn't get to see, granted) in 'The Next Doctor' caused by the giant Cyberman trampling down large parts of London.
Compared to that, the death of one character seems small, especially since the Doctor never really dies. I'll probably be up in tears, anyway, though.

DOCTOR WHO:

THE END OF TIME - PART ONE - Run time is 59mins and 42seconds.

THE END OF TIME - PART TWO - Run time is 72Mins and 47 Seconds.

Doctor Who: CONFIDENTIAL:

LORDS AND MASTERS 57m 16s

ALLONS-Y! - 57M 7 Seconds.

Judging from the running time of part 2 I predict that Russell T Davies has outdone himself with epicness. ;)

Don't know if anyone posted this since we have no final confirmation on a New Years Eve or Day airdate...

Got my TV christmas guide yesterday and it confirms Doctor Who "End of time" part 2 is New Years Day 7pm. what a sad start to 2010 to lose the 10th Doctor :( but its going to be great still ;)

Thats what my TV guide says and has the info printed about the episode from the BBC website. 7pm would seem like the best time most people are used to that time for Doctor Who these days.

which TV Guide is this? having info form the BBC website is meaningless I could do that and add anytime I like.

7pm is a good time no question, but I really would like to see these things on a BBC website or the Radio Times.

Well, after seeing Waters Of Mars I'm really looking forward to these final two specials to see how they play out.

I think it was the official christmas guide from the Mirror newspaper, they did a little page spread about the last ever episode too with some quotes from David Tennant about the episode.

I do wonder what ratings the two parts will get and I think part 1 being on X Mas day will be biggr though the last 10 mins on part 2 will prob skyrocket in audience.
