Dr Pulaski's Final Episode (Spoof)

Watching this does make me regret that the Crusher/Pulaski/Crusher move was so completely perfunctory, and that we never got a scene with the characters face to face.

^ I gather that both McFadden at the end of season 1 and Muldar at the end of season 2 were let go rather unceremoniously, and probably not on the best of terms. That would have probably made getting them both in the same episode a challenge. Still, I wish we had gotten to see Pulaski make a guest appearance at some point, or even a cameo in one of the films.

Yeah, but it would have been nice. And as far as the season three switchover went, a few lines of dialogue explaining exactly what had happened.

They did say something about Crusher being at Starfleet Medical, but other than that, nothing.

I wasn't a huge fan of either. Pulaski was a horrible clone of McCoy and the only good thing about Crusher is she gives shippers something to do.

What episode(s) is the footage from with pissed off Bev relieving someone of their duties?

"Ethics" where the guest doctor Toby Russel liked to experiement with untried medical proceedures. The same episode where Worf "dies" due to his spinal injury.

Nah just for the heck of it they should of had a Turbo-Lift malfunction and had Pullaski die like her Rosalind Shays character on LA Law.

L.A. LAW - Attorney Rosalind Shays fell down an elevator shaft. When the elevator arrived, she was talking to a fellow lawyer and simply stepped into the elevator not noticing that the elevator had failed to arrive. Her death came suddenly and was much appreciated by many fans of the show.

Poor Pulaski. I actually liked the character more than most, apparently. Personally speaking, I wouldn't have minded her appearing for another season given the choice, or at least a guest appearance at some point down the line.

NOT FAIR!!! :scream: I LIKED Pulaski - Beverly Crusher should have been beamed off into oblivion!

I'm glad that they had Doctor Crusher return after one season with Doctor Pulaski. I never thought Doctor Pulaski was good to TNG cast.

i noticed in the little movie that miles was a (senior) lieutenant aboard the enterprise. i don't watch tng too frequently. why did he get reduced in rank to chief warrant officer on ds9?

The producers had always considered O'Brien to be a warrent officer despite his wardrobe malfunction. He had lieutenant's pips but I don't think he was ever referred to as one on screen, always being called Chief instead. He received a black pip in season 6 before he was moved over to DS9 however.

That spoof is fab. At least we know why she mysteriously disappeared now! :D
