Ah, thanks! I've missed the boards quite a lot the past few months, and I'm glad I now have the energy to tackle something outside of work again that I can also share with you all.OMG - this is my favorite Batmobile! Amazing job.
Great to see you back Donny. Somehow this board just isn't complete without you. Hope the new job has been fun.
Yeah, both of those things ‘bout killed me! The fins especially. I must’ve spent 3-4 days on them alone, and had to start over after my first attempt was no good. This project has pushed me a lot in terms of complex geometry!I can already visualize the theme songThat fin and vent geometry , whoa!

I haven't gotten to the texturing phase yet, but I've done some research and the 92 Batmobile (Batman Returns) was indeed painted a very very very dark green with dark purple metallic on the edges to give them some highlight. I'll be experimenting with this for sure.Over at The RPF, someone did a physical model. Not just pure black…just a tad of purple in the finish. You might try that if possible.
Nah...Michael Keaton's version of Bruce Wayne strikes me as the kinda guy who would clock his fasteners.Man, I love the extreme level of accuracy and detail you're putting into this. It's at the point where the only thing I could suggest is having the nuts turned at slightly different angles.
Yeah, plus according to my references, the fasteners were all the same angle!Nah...Michael Keaton's version of Bruce Wayne strikes me as the kinda guy who would clock his fasteners.![]()
