My cat acts like that. You'd think that I've tried to vacuum her up the way she hides. She usually jumps up on my bed and sticks her head behind the curtain.

I have to yell at mine at the top of my lungs to get him to get out of the way of the lawn mower, but as soon as I get the vacuum cleaner out he wants to go outside suddenly. ( he tries to act casual about it though )
