Doggies, Doggos and Doggeroos!

This thread needs more big dogs :)

My wife (pictured) plays special needs hockey (it allows people with physical and other disabilities to play) and at a recent event, the team founder had his Newfoundlander with him.

Her name is Rosie but she can be a bit destructive so she's also known as Monster.

Nice. I always wanted to have such a dog when I'm a seasoned dog owner...more than I am now...perhaps after a couple more under my belt. Perhaps a Great Pyrenees if I'm still in Austin as Newfoundlanders are often dark colored. Finn has been gone for nearly three months. I miss him a lot but I'd love a beagle again someday. I saw a couple today and it made me think of him...but whatever. Beautiful dog. Awesome sport.

There's a Great Pyrenees that I've seen around the city a few times - it's big, white and very fluffy and gets lets of attention wherever it goes.

A new worker was in doing supports for my wife on Monday and she's got a Newfoundlander but her is dark, Comment was that Rosie is the first light one she's ever seen.

Hubs coworker has a Pyrenees. He’s super chill but doesn’t let anyone around his chickens and the family peacock. Protecting Those birbs are his duty!

Sis in law had a Newfie. What a mountain of LOVE. They don’t live long though, he made it to 11 and I believe that is considered long for the big guys :wah:
