Does Spike cut Voyager?

Spike aired that scene last time they aired that episode.

Spike definitely compresses Trek. I can notice the difference when watching it because the video isn't quite as smooth as it should be and it looks a little "off". I found it to be particularly noticable on TNG and DS9. VOY episodes were a little shorter, so they may not be compressing/editing as much as with the older series.

At the network/company I work for, we compress a LOT of programming in order to make room for special ad-sales/promo deals. Meh.

When I saw it they showed Chakotay asking about Neelix' unusual odor and then cut to the next scene. Is it possible they don't always play the same cut of an episode?

I know they cut part of "All Good Things..." when it aired. It drops one of Q's lines, which is my fave...

"All that sulfur and volcanic ash...really must speak to the maid."

Anyone know if Sky in the UK cuts episodes? I'm just glad we have the BBC where they show unedited episodes of TOS and TNG.

Yeah they are. I noticed heavy edits in Inside Man, Endgame, Unimatrix Zero, Pathfinder, and Life Line.

If "Endgame" was shown as two episodes, then of coarse it'll be heavilly editted. As for the rest... wow... Seasons 1-5 must be butchered.

I know that the two hour movie underwent an edit (I have it on video from when the syndication version aired on UPN two years ago before I got the DVDs). It's even edited down from that.
