I figured that she's been an XB for almost twenty-five years at this point, so certain technological advances would've been made, especially with the resource heavy Federation. And I imagine the pieces she wears on her face and hand at least were still useful and part of her identity, as she still goes by the name Seven of Nine and not Annika Hansen.
