Doctor Who and crossovers. What would you have liked to have seen?

A crossover between Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes working together solving mysteries could be interesting.

That would be fun.

The TARDIS was an easter egg in an episode of Sherlock..

Season 2 episode 2 tucked into the trees in the background. Edit: hidden in the trees at the start pre titles

Thanks! I thought it would be interesting with both characters facing some high stakes perplexing enigma requiring both their intellects and skills.

The game is afoot, Doctor!

Andy Lane's 1990s novel All-Consuming Fire features the seventh Doctor and Sherlock Holmes working on a timey-wimey case/adventure together. Big Finish later adapted it with Nicholas Briggs as Holmes, which then led to a line of Briggs-starring Holmes audios.

But there was that apocryphal comic where the Millennium Falcon crashed on Earth and Han Solo's skeleton was later discovered by Indiana Jones.
Oh right, I forgot about that one. Although that might be considered a special case since it was another Lucasfilm franchise that George Lucas was personally involved with.

I'm honestly kind of shocked we haven't seen this onscreen yet, it just seems so perfect.

The synergy of both characters interacting together could complement each other and an excellent opportunity for a creative writing team to craft fun entertainment.
