The new opening credits. (STOP calling it a new theme! It's the same song from 1963, just a new arrangement.) It's striking and really moves, even moreso than the previous two versions Gold arranged.
Jack isn't running it at the moment.
Young Amelia sitting on her suitcase waiting for the Doctor actually came close to bringing tears to my eyes. I didn't expect that.
I think he's gorgeous.quick show of hands, who thinks he looks a dweeb?
Actually if we're in nitpicking mode, it's not a "song".The new opening credits. (STOP calling it a new theme! It's the same song from 1963, just a new arrangement.)

Not me.
Count me as thinking he doesn't look like one - hell next fancy dress party I'm going to I'm dressing up as him, bow tie and all, because well, bow ties are cool after all.
And I used to think I was the only one who still wore rolled up trousers with Doc Martins...Loved it.
Not me.

I like the look. Heck it would be fun to dress up as him for an upcoming convention.
I liked this as well, along with his lines "I'm still cooking" at the beginning and "I'm not done yet" later at the duck pond, as though he was some meal being cooked in an oven.C.E. Evans said:It was great seeing a newly-regenerated Doctor up and running again from the get-go, while still occasionally letting us know he wasn't still all there yet.
The Doctor inadvertently told us why Amy is fascinated with her; he's her faerie tale. She's there for the love of adventure and escapism. ****, that's probably why she began doing kiss-a-grams -- it allowed her to fulfill some of her fantasies and dreams, even if compromises had to be made. She's in love with the idea of the Doctor and what he does, not the Doctor himself.
And, of course, her adventures with the Doctor will teach her why living a real life is more important than living in a fantasy world, and she'll probably wind up marrying Rory at the end of her companionship. In effect she'll have been allowed to fulfill her most fondest wish as if it were just a daydream, then continue on with her life all the wiser for it after he drops her off the day before her wedding... just like he promised. All exactly as if it were a real faerie tale.
- "I'm definitely a mad man with a box."
To me, there's a little bit of the Sixth Doctor's sarcastic wit in the Eleventh, but also this oddly mix of youthful enthusiasm and ancient maturity. While I like all the Doctors, Smith's has the potential to be my new favorite...
And like a total geek, I watched it with my brand new Eleventh Doctor sonic screwdriver right alongside my TV remote...
I loved it when the Doctor looked at the new TARDIS and said "Look at you...you sexy thing!" Yes, I like a Doctor who isn't so stuffy and can be goofy from time to time...
I kept hearing about how godwaful terrible the new opening theme music was, but I actually like it better than the previous one myself.
It wasn't until my second viewing that I made out the word "vacate". For some reason it was really giving me trouble. It obviously makes sense, but whether it was because of the deep voice or the "interference" as it came over radios and such, it was giving me a hard time. That was a really interesting episode, with the "PRISONER ZERO WILL VACATE THE HUMAN RESIDENCE, OR THE HUMAN RESIDENCE WILL BE INCINERATED."
