Dam aren't us brits just kick ass as TV :p

Loved every minute of it and this season has easily beaten the other 3 that came before it since Doctor Who returned in 2005. To all the people who said 2 years ago that The Doctor wasn't going to I Love You to ROSE...In your face :p and lucky half time lord there.

After so many people were worried about Catherine Tate, I feel she was superb throughou the season and I am really sad we will never see Donna again but it was a goodway to go out and Smart Donna was so funny and kind of sexy lol.

I guess Martha & Mickey will be joining Torchwood, which I feel will do just fine and also I would like to thank RTD for the past 4 years and bringing Doctor Who back so I could become a fan of the greatest TV series ever created in British history.

:techman:

I'll say it again...Doctor loves Rose :P

Loved the German daleks.
I don't get why the doctor did not die he was speaking to fast for me.
Loved the half human doctor when he started talking like Donna.
Loved K9
Would love to be able to make my own David Tennant.
Can't believe this was 2 pages long even before it aired.

Great, slightly superfluous appearances from Micky, Rose's Mum and Martha aside, it was all great.

We were nicely thrown by the regeneration twist, however poorly it ended for Donna. Davros seems to have made up for numerous appearances that let down the fans with his final appearance. Everything worked out well, somewhat logically, no silly twists like Bad Wolf.

I liked that Donna went this way on a high, shame that Rose is there to come back again, somehow

Makes me wonder, has Doctor Who blown its load so to speak with the Daleks? Never mind in universe continuity, they seem to have done just about everything they could with them and the "temporal emergency shift" has been done to death.

Loved the German Daleks marching around Nuremburg, nice to see the comedy remaining throughout (Mr Ostenhagen, inventor of the Ostenhagen device  )

And now we have to wait an age for the Christmas specials, then the specials to come before we get a Moffat series.

Well that was dissapointing! Was expecting like some big revelation that Donna was a timelord or somert. Even though the episode was 1 hour long it still feel rushed with lots of sci fi mumbo jumbo, and the Daleks where destroyed too easily again. Please no more Daleks in the future.

Loved the German-speaking Daleks.

Loved Jack's "I can't even tell you what I'm thinking right now" line.

Loved that Caan was just screwing with Davros the whole time, and that he knew the Daleks would fail from the off.

Julian Bleach was simply awesome as Davros. Loved that he and Sarah Jane got to trade words.

Pretty cracking episode really. I need to watch it again though once I've had time to fully digest the whole thing. Then I reckon I'll be in a better position to post about it all.

Julian

Well not as good as last weeks but then the set up is usually always better than the solution, if only for yourself going "i wonder how they will resolve this"?

I liked the doctor donna and it was also nice to see some great team work from everyone. Nice that no reset button was done and at least the companions lived, although donnas mind was wiped she didnt die, per say.

Wilf was, as ever, great and i laughed a few times (especially at the german daleks)

I can't remember, did they really meet or is it a Khan/Checkov type affair?

Edited to add, what the hell happened Billy Piper's teeth? They did a shot of her from a previous episode and her teeth were definitely not that far out! And then they show her after the show was shot and they're back in again, bizarre.

I lost all respect for this post when you used the word 'sumert'.

Bloody brilliant stuff. I feel numb after that and really don't know what to say. Fracking amazing.

He lost me when he didn't start the sentance with Awesome

am sorry but if you can't like this then please exit the Tardis now.

That was grand. This RTD fellow really knows how Doctor Who works. Osterhagen Key, Warp Star, HumanDoctor & DonnaDoctor, and Davros kept winning! Hilarious and captivating at the same time! Random "it's only been 3 minutes since the episode ended!" remarks:

- Davros was in the Vault, a prisoner of the Daleks! Dalek Caan was the real leader with his prophecies. But now that you start thinking about it: Dalek Caan saved Davros, Davros creates Dalek Empire, Caan destroys Dalek Empire. Maybe he changed his mind after rescuing Davros, then? I'm sorry, I really don't want to nitpick!

- Torchwood! Mickey and Martha will join Jack, Ianto and Gwen. Gwen is related to Gwynneth from the Unquiet Dead :D

- So many awesome pieces of dialogue. Davros showing the Doctor his own actions was very powerful, and all the little character moments with the Companions were pretty good. But I can't decide wether the whole "EXTERMINIEREN!" scene was extremely insensitive or just very cool.

- Davros really can't be excused for not putting up a confinement beam around DoctorDonna. Did he think she was dead?

- HumanDoctor! A terrible, terrible creature. Cheerfully exterminating the Dalek race? FOR THE SECOND TIME!? Hello! Here's hoping some future Doctor will run into "Evil David Tennant Half-Human Doctor" ;)

- Davros last scene was so typical for the character: he was nearly always left behind in some fire or explosion, only to turn up in a later season without much explanation. In that sense, it's a proper ending for him. Although we'll probably see him again in the future.

- Christmas Special preview: Cybermen in Victorian England (presumably at Christmas :P). Sound of Cybermen footsteps, but sounding suspiciously 'steampunky'. Maybe my imagination.

- The Doctor is alone :( I think this was a final goodbye for many of the companions (and in some ways, a goodbye for the RTD era). All of them had some sort of closure: SJS will probably do more of her Adventures, Mickey and Martha join Torchwood, Rose has her Doctor, Donna has been 'reset'.

She was recovering from oral surgery when she shot "Turn Left," which is why she mumbled so much. Extensive dental work, it'll do that.

I was all ready to be disappointed with the resolution to the cliffhanger, but when it was actually resolved it was quite good. As with last week, I don't think anything could live up to the expectations placed on it, but it was pretty damn great.

Just talking to my brother about the German daleks I said I would have liked to see a French one and now I have a picture in my head of a dalek going round Paris with onion rounds it neck wearing a Berets

I think the only ones we will ever see again are Jack & Martha but most likely I feel Moffat may just never use any of them for his run over the next few years.

Davros and SJ sharing a nostalgic moment!
WILF NEARLY STEALING THE ENTIRE FUCKING SHOW WITH ONE EMOTIONAL

Oh yeah! Oooh! Davros remembered Sarah Jane.

And indeed.. Bernard Cribbins just completely owns the show in every scene he is in. Nothing "nearly" about it: he did steal the show completely .

Feeble.
Things to note:
Daleks speaking German was surreal.
Davros was brilliant.
Christmas trailer was neat.

I think of all of them he is most likely to use Jack - he did write the character's first appearance remember, and we still have those missing two years to find out about. :)

I do know that I don't want to see Rose come back again. Once was enough.

:D

When the germans were speaking German I could resist shouting..ARRR Nazi Daleks, I was half expecting them to shout "Heil Hitler" :p
