WOW! the three episodes have to be the best TV every made in the UK. A true emotional roller-coaster. Poor Donna.
I'm no major Who fan, but I've watched the second half of this series and really enjoyed it. That last episode was no exception.
Wow! Definitely need a repeat viewing to catch everything that was going on. I feel sorry for Donna, as I would have liked her to have stayed on.
Great, if somewhat predictable for those who followed the spoiler-rumours. Or even for those who simply saw how all the RTD-era loose ends would have to be tied off. Very satisfying though - definitely the best season finale, and at last RTD gives us a finale that fulfils its promises (albeit with a lot of obvious cheats , cop-outs and "from a certain point of view" playing) ad with no resets of deus ex machinas. Cool - I already can't wait for the DVD set (November 4th, IIRC) 10/10
Caan the Betrayer! Davros and SJ sharing a nostalgic moment! Underused Torchwood staff with a nice linky ancestral moment for Gwen! K9! TWO FUCKING DOCTORS! DONNA BECOMES HALF TIMELORD! German speaking Daleks! A predictable yet moving and satisfying resolution for Donna! Rose gets a Doctor but feels shortchanged! WILF NEARLY STEALING THE ENTIRE FUCKING SHOW WITH ONE EMOTIONAL SENTENCE! The Doctor alone again! Oh - and no cliffhanger...no new companion... Blimey.
