Do you want the Kelvin Universe to continue?

We've got 3 movies, and with how Beyond ended, we could leave it there, call it a trilogy, and move on. I kind of like the Kelvin Universe and would like it to continue parallel with Trek Prime.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I don't necessarily mean a 4th film, because there are rumors that has been cancelled. What I mean to ask is, if we don't get a 4th film, do you want to see the Kelvin universe continued on the small screen? I'm thinking a series or perhaps a crossover event. The mirror universe played a role in several episodes across four shows. TNG toyed with the multiverse in "Parallels." Why not a crossover between Prime Trek and Abrams Trek?

Big Yes to the Kelvin-Timeline continuing as either (or both):

a fourth movie and more!

or

a tv series format

Essentially: I love the Kelvinverse and always look forward to spending more time there - big screen or small screen!

I would love to see that cast in another movie. Especially Pine.

Most of the TOS movies were very different aesthetically. I'd like to see something different from 1/2 and even 3. Hell, I'd love to see some exploration and maybe even a movie where the Federation didn't make it's own villain.

All three movies certainly had their flaws, but the cast was not one of them (with the only weak link being Simon Pegg, IMO). I'd love to see at least one more movie with them, even without Anton Yelchin.

I really liked the Kelvin Timeline and I probably wouldn't mind a fourth movie, but I'm also fine if it ended with Beyond. Regardless if you liked the movie or not, the final minutes of the movie (before the end credits of course) was a cool send off.

I thought some of the castings were terrible and that from an average start the films were getting worse as they went on.

If you're going to do something without Kirk, Spock and Co. you might as well do it in the prime / TV continuity.

So it's a no from me, sorry.

I definitely wanted it to continue. I love the idea of a new universe where anything could happen, be it reboots of old concepts (Khan) or all-new adventures (Beyond). I was hyped for Kirk meeting his dad, since he'd cast such a shadow over this version of Jim throughout his life.

Doesn't look too likely now, but I'm still hopeful for a reboot of The Undiscovered Country in 20 years!

I like the Kelvin cast a lot and would like to see them again in some form or fashion. I think Paramount didn't fully realize what they had after Star Trek 2009 came out and wasted a lot of opportunities. Into Darkness or a second movie should've come out in 2011, then another in 2013, and so on. Also, the novels should've been out by 2010, a better video game (s), and perhaps even an animated series. Paramount just didn't take advantage of what they had.

I still wish DISCO had been in the Kelvinverse. I would like to see it keep going, though perhaps as an Excelsior spin off on All Access instead of movies, because the movies were getting diminishing returns. Also I think it would be hard to get all of the main cast back and to keep them coming back.

Yes once pandemic is over I want ST4 for summer 2022 (Hemsworth & Pine reconsider their negotiation over the lockdown and now accept) followed by Tarantino Trek summer 23 with JJcast and Shatner,Stewart etc (again over lockdown QT decides next film he directs will be Trek) followed by whatever Hawley is cooking up for summer 25

yes one benefit of all this time past is it would (hopefully) look completely different to the previous 3 (for a start all the actors would look notably older as happened with TOS cast), but also new uniforms (maroons or maybe they put them in a later TNG style?), new style sets of bridge/engine room etc, new warp/phaser beams/transporter FX, and new style of nacelles (TOS movie era)

Heck in two years it will be as long since Start Trek 09 as it was from The Cage to The Motion Picture.

Personally I don't really mind either way. If they make more I'll see it and I hope it'll be good. If they don't I'll be fine without.

I think it should and will in some form or another. I think if they could do novels or graphic novels set in Kelvin that were of a type similar to the feature films that would be cool. It could be fun to see these guys progress further into the future in a way that's different from how the TOS films went.
