I do not believe I'll ever, realistically speaking, get the chance to travel out of the atmosphere. It's not that I don't think the technology or destinations will exist in the, oh, say thirty years I have left... it's just I don't think the price'll be low enough that I'll be able to afford the trip.

Or is it too late to address the original topic in this thread?

Which is my point - it wasn't good for America, wasn't good for Vietnam, wasn't good for the world, actually. I'm saying (not very well) that there's a hell of a lot more going on than America, or the idea of America. People like Dayton need to go see.

I remember going with my dad to take a guy he worked with to the bus station so he could go to Canada. I was too young to really understand why, though at the time.
