Do you think you would get along with another version of you?

Let's say you were dublicated liked Crighton on "Farscape" or you meet a alternate universe version of yourself that was exactly like you. No evil twin stuff that you also sometimes see in fiction. What if this other version of yourself had to move in with you. Do you think you would get along with yourself?
I think I would get along very well with myself. For starters it means I would feel less lonely than I currently do since I would have someone to talk to and I know he would also have those same feelings. Plus it would be nice to have someone also intrested in sci-fi around the house.
Another thing is that since I find unusual stuff intresting I would love to sort of observe how we each change and become different over time. We might start out the same but of course things would change since we would have different experiences.
Of course the unknown element is how would we both function on the Trekbbs. I think it might get confusing as to which version is which version.

Oh god no. I'm pretty kind and gregarious and get along with most people, but I'm an utterly cruel bitch when it comes to dealing with myself.

Only if we could split our tasks. One works, one writes. One does housework, one plays guitar. One does maintenance, one goes to the movies.

And we have to take turns, then mentally download wht the other did.

Me-1: "That was fun..."
Me-A: "Let's do it again!"
Me-Prime: "Yes, an Army of Us!"
Me-*: "We will be UNSTOPPABLE!"
Me^2: "WHARRGHARRBLE!"
Me-1: "Um..."
Me-A: "Oh Crap."
Me-Prime: "You copied a copy of a copy, didn't you?"
Me-*: "Oops."
Me^2: "NGEEERRGLLLBBBBBHHHT!"
Me-1: "Kill it!"
Me-A: "Kill it with FIRE!"

What if he came from a reality where they had slightly different Trek episodes. Data never hooked up with Tasha. Sisko never went bald. TATV never happened.

Also, high school happened a bit differently as well. But he's exactly the same as myself?

I think it'd be a bit too weird and awkward

If my clone were anything like me, we'd probably never see each other because he wouldn't go anywhere and cancel plans all the time.

Like a female clone that rejected my sexual advances? No. We wouldn't get along at all.

A female clone would fully be overwhelmed by my sexual magnetism and vica versa, so that would be just fine. Not sure how the genetics of reproduction would work out though.

Seriously though no, I'm well aware many of my own traits are the very ones which provoke me in others.

The problem though is once a alternate timeline diverges from our history then it means everything would change to a point where nothing would be the same or happen in the same way as it does in our timeline. That means your duplicate would be more like Thomas Riker than a exact copy as you are.
Granted meeting a version of myself that is really different or even slightly different would be fun as well but I think I might have a harder time getting along with that version of me.
I could see a version of me for example who a alcoholic or drug addict since I have OCD and Depression and self control issues with food. I could see a me that is both kinds of dominatrix types. A version of me in a mental hospital. A version of me that is race car driver. A version of me that is a republican. It's actually kind of fun to think about all the different kinds of versions of ourselves that might exist or could have existed.

Yes. We would mostly keep to ourselves, share the workload, and go out of our way to be as kind and considerate as possible to one another.
