Do you think we might see enterprise under Pike on the show?

The Cage was 2254, and Where No Man has Gone before was in 2265. That is only 11 years.

Is that a retcon? Because, in my brief research, that 2254 date was given, but I can't find a source, and multiple sources indicate that "The Cage's" stardate is unknown.

In The Menagerie, Part I, Kirk specifically says of Pike, "I took over the Enterprise from him."
