Do you think SNW will ever show Pike's Post-"Menagerie" life?

I would like the final episode to essentially recreate The Menagerie from the perspective of the rest of the Strange New Worlds characters, who of course all played their part in the conspiracy to steal Pike away to Talos 4. Sort of like Trials and Tribble-lations, except instead of inserting the new characters into old footage, they can recreate the old scenes with the new actors.

I’m rewatching TOS right now and just hit The Menagerie. It’s kinda interesting to look at where the SNW crew could all fit in with Spock’s plan…assuming all survive the series.

Una/La’an - they help Spock with higher level command codes that he doesn’t have access to as even first officer (presuming Una is a Captain in her own right at that point) and security protocols for the starbase.

M’Benga/Chapel - already on the Enterprise. They help Spock get Pike up to the Enterprise and certify that he is healthy enough to travel.

Ortegas - plots the Enterprise’s course to Talos that avoids fleet patrols and starbases/colony’s that could stop them.

Uhura - intentionally left in the dark as a bridge officer so she has full deniability in case things go sideways.

it would almost be an Oceans Eleven type heist.

No, SNW reframes Uhura's background in such a way as to fix one of the most glaring continuity errors of early TOS:

How could there be "subspace chatter" about Pike's injury that never made its way to anyone on Enterprise except Spock? Why didn't the com officer know?

Answer: Uhura knew all about it immediately. She told Spock. He convinced/ordered her to keep it to herself. Essentially, she was in on the plan from the beginning but Spock didn't want her participation to be discovered. Deniability, as you suggest.

Uhura cared enough and was loyal enough to Pike that she probably fudged com logs on her own initiative, taking a chance for her first captain's sake.

Damn, it almost makes the "Menagerie' wrapper story plausible for the first time ever.

I hadn’t considered it that way. But, thanks to the SNW we know Spock and Una have knowledge of the event. It’s just a matter of signaling everyone else to start the plan.

Uhura would tell Spock what happened when she heard it, completely unaware what she was kicking off. Maybe Spock even took the initiative and deleted anything about Pike from Kirk’s daily brief.

I could definitely see this. But I don't see him returning to Starfleet in the era he was injured. I bet thee Talosians find a way to "fix" him and maybe even keep his younger for a hundred years. Maybe Seven of Nine will find him.....lol

As someone who thinks they might change this into a new universe I think the answer is maybe yes and no. I could even see a future SNW movie were the Enterprise under the command of Pike has to face off with Khan, who was never recovered by the Enterprise but instead landed on Talos and he was able to kill the Taloisians and now has access to their advanced tech. Or a fight with Kor over control of the planet.

It will last as long as the folks involved want it to last. There is no set expiration date. If they make the jump to movies it probably wont involve rehashing TOS episodes or films.

Oh I think if they change the timeline then Kirk is toast. Then comes the Captain Spock spin-off with first officer La'an and Doctor and wife Doctor Chapel. Not to mention arch nemesis Sybok.

I think it would be a tv movie if they did a movie. Or a mini-series. When they do a movie it will be with a bigger name I think or a return Chris Pine.

They'll extend the show by making more episodes set before TOS.

Yes but at some point you got to deal with his future. It's something that has even played a importance on the series. Plus I think their is a desire to explore what happens after that event or if you change that event then what else happens instead.

Plot twist, The Talosians relocate Pike to the center of the Galaxy, give him new powers and wipe his memory. Sybok finds the new Pike and sets off the adventures of STV

I know but I am thinking maybe 5 years down the line. Some will move on to bigger roles. Plus it's always good to bring in new characters from time to time to keep things fresh. Create new stories and character dynamics. As long you dont loose a core character.

Such is the nature of long running TV shows.

They won't do a return to Starfleet. The whole thing with Pike and his injuries is an irony. He thinks it's the end of his life essentially, or possibly something worse than dying. However, we, the audience, know that he'll have a new life with Vina and can use the Talosian mind powers. Not just to create illusions but traveling (as we saw) to some degree. He's not returning to Starfleet.

I don't know if they'll show anything post-Menagerie. It depends if they have a good story they can tell with that scenario. Pike and Vina traveling via Talosian mind powers! If so, perhaps a streaming movie event sometime after the series finale.
