Do you think Amy and Rory will have more kids?

This is probably beyond the scope of the show, but I wonder if Amy and Rory would be inclined to have more children. It sounded like they were intereted in going the traditional mommy and daddy route before their baby was kidnapped, turned into weapon, and ultimately imprisoned for a crime she both did and didn't commit. So now they have an adult child who looks as though she's 20+ years older than her parents -- although the actual figure could be closer to double -- and can only come to visit the time period they live in occasionally.

Do you think they'll try again? And if they do, do you think that they would ever tell their future child/children about their adventures with the Doctor? And how would they go about explaining the familly relationship between River and Offspring 2+? "So, uh...Here's your older sister, River. We had her awhile before we had you. And then she went to the future."

I suppose it could end up being really normal to Offspring 2, if they're born into that sort of situation. They might go to school one day and ask their friends if they have older time travelin siblings, too.

The more I think about the Pond's future domestic life, the more I realized just how much their lives have been altered by traveling with the Doctor.

I doubt they'll actively try to have another kid. But they are a married couple, and married couples do things together. It's possible they'll end up unintentionally with another kid(s).

I got the impression that Melody/River was unplanned. That being said if they actually do want to have children there is no reason why they can't. I don't think we'll see that during the remainder of the time on the series but now that Amy has been a mother and been robbed of a chance to continue being a mother and seeing her child grow up...it's possible they could have more.

I'd like to think they would. They love each other a lot, and had one pretty amazing child.

They barely had River, really. Amy didn't even know she was pregnant until she was basically in labour, and then she had about a month with the baby while they were locked in one room. Rory had even less than that. Then the baby was kidnapped, and they basically never saw her again until she was an adult.

They barely qualify as parents at all, in any more than a strictly biological sense. So I have no trouble believing they would have another child, so that they can actually experience being parents.

Besides, think of all the amazing presents Cool Aunt River could bring when she visits.

I'm not sure if they'd want to have a baby goat, now another child, that's a whole different question.

They're both young, they're both happily married and both in love and no doubt have a very healthy sex life. Children will probably come along even if we don't see them on screen.
