To me it a matter of what you're willing to give up a little amount of to accomplish your priority. I'd be willing to surrender a certain amount of peace to increase freedom.

I am very conscious that I cannot stand still and need to keep working on improving myself. In my view, that's what I'm here for... I definitely believe there is a purpose for existence and it's about growing in whichever way you can.

Having lots of ego is fine, you just need a sense of humor to go with it. I know that my ego is huge, but I can also laugh at it and also keep it in check to prevent me from being an asshole.

Not really. I can see why other people would, but they're not inside my head. It's pretty screwed up in there. I have a lot of flaws, and I spend way too much energy overcompensating for them and not enough energy actually fixing them.

I am not perfect, and that is fine with me. I know I need improvement in certain areas and I am working on those improvements. That being said, I don't dislike myself because of those flaws. They are part of who I am. ALL my flaws.

So...change my vote to the first one I love me!!
