I remember when I was younger I thought about getting a tattoo once. I am really glad I decided against it now.
Of course I wouldn't hold it against anyone who did decide to get a small little Trek tattoo that could not be seen when wearing normal clothing.
Larger ones are a completely different matter. At least for me and my artistic preferences, anyways.
Hmmm... which makes me wonder. Has anyone seen or heard of anyone doing any permanent Dax spots or an evil Chakotay version tattoo on their face?
Trill spots in a small amount and in the right pattern and in the right spot that can be easily hidden by normal clothing would be the most natural looking Trek tattoo in my opinion. If done right: someone might just think it is some kind of unique set of patterned freckles or something. But the pattern would have to look like it was natural forming and it would have to match your normal skin tone, though.
But yes. The pain in adding each of those dots really would be quite an ordeal. Unless you constantly shot Novocain into the selected tattooed area (of course).
Thanks Keith!
Still deciding on where it's going to go, but once i get it done I'll post a picture of it.
My apologies in resurrecting a partially decomposing zombie thread, but i wanted to update you all! I got my tattoo yesterday. It took about 10-15 minutes max, and i LOVE IT!!!!!!
