The Klingon cloak is problematic. The Suliban had them but i think the reset button might have fixed that. I may be wrong but i half remember Kang or Kor on DS9 saying their ship was one of the first to have a cloak. As augment Klingons have been wiped from the Discoveryverse, will that still be canon.

Also interactive holograms that gives real time communication throughout the quadrant and Jedi Vulcans who communicate similarly through the mind im surprised USS Voyager with the holograms and the vulcan Tuvok didnt communicate with Starfleet earlier from the delta quadrant since the DIS apologists say all this is canon...
That's a very good point. Apparently, Tuvok didn't love his wife and children as much as Sarek loved Burnham, or T'Pol loved Trip.

so, you're not seeing an Enterprise-shaped Enterprise in both pictures? You can't be serious.

Head, arms, legs...roughly the same place. Yes, you are clearly Bing Crosby.
I like the new enterprise design, but it’s daft to say it’s the same when it’s really not. If having roughly the same shapes in roughly the same place is enough to make it the same, then I fear for your Home decoration attempts. ‘What do you mean it’s not a book shelf! It’s tall, made of wood!’ ‘It’s a tree. You have a tree in the room. This is why the books keep falling off.’
Seriously. Should have gone to spec savers.

Those all can be explained in some way, and don't violate canon in any major way. Klingon Empire is an intergalatic power and yet there is no variation in appearance?

Honestly, I think that the DSC Klingon design could loosely fit if we assumed that they shaved their heads or something. However, the Powers That Be are essentially assuming that their Klingons are what the species "always" looked like, which contradicts every single Klingon episode ever made.

Uniforms change in 3 years from TOS to TMP but ten years of adjustment from Kelvin to Disco to Cage is unreasonable?

The problem is that the DSC uniforms are slotted into a space when we know for a fact that other uniforms were in use. (This was addressed by the novels and I do accept that explanation, but it still shows a willingness to violate canon to suite their own ends, despite going on record that they were planning to be consistent.

The cloak is the only one that kind of bothers me, but cloaking tech is always something that gets in the way (the Federation steals one, the Federation can't use one because of a treaty, etc.).

I don't know how it works from a narrative standpoint, but if DSC was a history paper, I'd have to give it an "F" on this point, at least.

I look not at all like Crosby (and can't sing), a tree looks nothing like a shelf. The Enterprise however looks like the goddamn Enterprise. It really is that simple

All I know is that the idea everything visual has to be changed for modern audiences simply doesn't wash. Watching Space Battleship Yamato 2199, a retelling of the original Quest for Iscandar, and they are faithful to the look of an early-70's cartoon and it looks spectacular.

They added some details to things like uniforms, but the basic designs are all still there.

This is reaching Alex Jones levels of nutso.

First of all, no-one who accepts Discovery's retcons and additions to the Canon is being an "apologist".

Second, it is an indisputable fact that Discovery is set in the Prime Timeline, visual redesigns be damned, just as it is an indisputable fact that Theresa May is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. No amount of whining, denial, and creating of useless "headcanon" is going to change that fact, so in the words of Dave Bautista, "Deal with it!"

same with the 1701 in DISCO, isn't it? the basic design is still there

Go check out the original Yamato, and then its update. Then you'll understand what I'm talking about. They were faithful to the original designs to such a degree you really have to look to pick up the changes.

nah, I'm not really into Captain Future wannabe shows
to clarify: most japanese animation looks the same to me anyway

Seems when you run out of arguments, you move on to insults. Very nice.

And it only takes a few minutes on YouTube to find relevant clips. But, that would take effort on your part.

The problem with Discovery being quite different from the prime universe can easily be resolved by the creators if they so choose. It could be explained by using Q, or a time travel butterfly effect. In fact it could all be corrected when the series ends with a time travel story that changes things back to the way things looked in the original series. But until that happens, I will now consider Discovery to take place in the Discoveryverse.

That's not how it works.

I've once met a pescetarian who told me: "if it swims in the sea, I consider it seafood!"
he then proceeded to throw a piglet into the sea

"That's not how it works!" was not something he listened too
